MANDY CHRISTIANSEN
Choreographer/Dancer

Mandy loves to dance more than anything else in the world. She began dancing at the age of four at the YMCA in Jessup, MD. As a parent she now understands how much time and energy her parents devoted to shuttling her to and from dance classes throughout her entire childhood and adolescence. She attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA where she earned a B.A. in Dance and English. She also spent a year in London dancing at the Laban Centre where she earned a Professional Diploma in Dance Studies. Upon returning from London she moved to San Francisco where she quickly found sanctuary in the dance classes of Lizz Roman and several months later her home with Lizz Roman and Dancers. Eight years and many amazing dances later she is grateful to be in Portland bringing new perspectives on dance to anyone who is willing to participate.
